AREA SALES MANAGER (North Wales)

Hours - Monday to Friday 40 hours per week inclusive of a 1 hour unpaid break

Salary - £34,000 per annum

Purpose of Job

To manage, develop and increase sales and profit contribution in existing and new customers within your geographical area (North Wales). Ensuring all sales and margin targets and budgets are met in line with guidance from the RSM / MD. You may also be required to undertake other duties which are deemed to be within the business needs.

Main Duties

  • To contact and liaise with suppliers to ensure product knowledge is maintained and reviewed. Internal departments to ensure the free flow of customer, market and product information.
  • Establish and maintain accurate customer records, product profiles, promotional calendars, customer database and pricing files.
  • Devise and constantly review clear journey plans and customer categorisation.
  • Plan and execute sales opportunities within new market sectors and strategise sales penetration opportunities.
  • Actively engage in the annual planning and budgeting process ensuring accurate and achievable customer plans are devised and executed. 
  • To act as an ambassador for BAKO Group, seeking to promote the Company’s services wherever and to whomever possible. 

Job Requirements

Essentials

  • Valid UK driving Licence
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Extensive sales experience
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record.
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficient)
  • Excellent team working abilities and networking skills
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Results orientated with a positive outlook
